Skip’s credits are extensive. He has headlined major comedy clubs across the country, fromDangerfield’s in New York to the Ice House in Los Angeles. In his home town of Chicago, he headlined the premier club, ZANIES, for four consecutive weeks, a run unmatched in the club’s 30-year history. And add to that, his worldwide popularity as Bob Uecker’s sidekick, Monte the colorman, in the hit movies Major League I and II.
As guitarist/vocalist in the Olivia Newton-John band, Griparis toured for four years – performances included the Bu-do Kan in Tokyo, and Carson’s Tonight Show. He was also a lead guitarist and vocalist with The New Colony Six.
