Judy and Petra Duo

Pianist/singer Judy Roberts, dubbed Chicago's First Lady of Jazz" by the Chicago Tribune,  is home for the summer and thrilled to re-unite musically with singer Petra van Nuis.  Judy and Petra will enchant you with luscious harmonies on jazz standards both familiar and obscure.

Internationally renowned and Grammy nominated, Judy Roberts has graced the festival stages of Holland's North Sea Jazz Festival, the Singapore Jazz Festival, and the Monterey Jazz Festival.  Several years ago, Judy took young jazz singer Petra van Nuis under her wing. In addition to singing at Chicago venues such as the Jazz Showcase, the Green Mill, and Katerina's, Petra has led groups at the Chicago Jazz Festival, the Chautauqua Jazz Party, and the Cedar Basin Jazz Festival.
