Petra van Nuis/Larry Harris Duo

Since their first meeting at a gig in 2007, jazz vocalist Petra van Nuis and jazz pianist Larry Harris knew they had a unique musical connection. Their shared aesthetic was immediately evident and they have been making beautiful music together ever since. Their love of fantastic tunes, both well-worn and obscure, and the desire to communicate them in a honest and straightforward way where the lyric reigns supreme is what makes the listening experience special for audiences. Petra and Larry play at all the top Chicago jazz venues including the Jazz Showcase, the Green Mill, Katerina's, Fitzgerald's, and Andy's. In addition, they travel to jazz clubs and festivals throughout the country and the internationally to places like Singapore, the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Canada.
