A Night With Julie Paradise and Friends

Join us for "A Night With Julie Paradise and Friends," - a showcase of three of the Midwest's funniest comics. Nate Weatherup, Lisa Laureta and veteran comedian and head-liner, Julie Paradise, each bring distinctive and original perspectives to the stage. Nate, a former teacher, has been working in the comedy scene both in Chicago and nationally. He was selected to be in 2013 Great American Comedy Festival with head-liner Drew Carey. Lisa's background in theater and sketch comedy helps her to engage audiences as she mixes storytelling with stand-up techniques. She recently made her television debut on the OWN Network in the series pilot, "My Life Is A Joke." Julie combines comedy club appearances with corporate presentations and she enjoys the mix. Like Nate and Lisa, she has been seen on the Zanies Comedy Club stage many times and she was featured in Five Funny Women, A Man and His Piano, a comedy revue which had a 6 week run at Davenport's Cabaret Club in Chicago.
